Join the Prospect Sierra Parent Community
Our parent community is a wonderful resource of incredibly diverse, talented, interesting, hardworking, and generous individuals. Within our wide-reaching diversity, we are like-minded in our commitment to providing an excellent education for our children and raising confident, aware, happy, and productive new citizens, who are respectful of others and the world around them. Whatever your time and talents, there is a place for you to connect and contribute to make Prospect Sierra the close community that it is.
All Parents Are Members
The Prospect Sierra Parent Association (PSPA) is the vibrant, creative, and enthusiastic volunteer arm of Prospect Sierra. All parents and caregivers are members of PSPA. PSPA runs at least 20 active committees, which do everything from planning our beloved (and free!) Panther Picnic in the fall, to running an engaging Authors & Lectures speaker series, to organizing the Staff Appreciation Lunch in the spring.
Funds raised by PSPA are used to fund these events, as well as special projects at Prospect Sierra. In the recent past, PSPA has paid for the remodel of staff kitchens at both campuses, a sound system for the elementary school multipurpose room, and an electric vehicle to support our school facilities team.
Come to a PSPA Gathering!
PSPA gathers regularly throughout the school year. These events include engaging and informative speakers, good conversation, coffee, and treats! All parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend — it’s a great way to meet other parents and connect with the school community.
