Middle School Librarian, 6th Grade Advisor, and Yearbook Coordinator
Kristin Stringfield, Middle School Librarian, 6th Grade Advisor, Yearbook Coordinator, and Equity and Inclusion Team Leader, began teaching at Sierra School in 1994 as a fourth grade humanities teacher. After two years in fourth grade, she moved to sixth grade, and taught sixth grade humanities for the next 28 years. This year is her first as a Middle School Librarian. Kristin received her bachelor’s degree in Literature and Writing from UC San Diego and a master’s degree in Education, Language, and Literacy from UC Berkeley. Although she is new to the librarian position, she grew up spending every chance she could at the public library and always participated in summer reading challenges. She lives in Tewksbury Heights in a little cottage built in 1916.
