Jo Tams

Jo Tams, Sixth Grade Science Teacher and Advisor, taught math and science in various Bay Area middle and high schools for 10 years before becoming a part of the Prospect Sierra faculty in 2010. She spent her college years in Massachusetts, earning her master’s in teaching from Smith College after completing a BA in geosciences at Williams College. She’s been very successful in both playing and coaching ultimate frisbee, winning the National Championship with her coed team in 2005. These days, she enjoys early morning runs, dark chocolate and exploring the natural world with her two children.
