5th Graders + Moth Storytelling

5th graders celebrated storytelling through a story slam in humanities! Modeled after The Moth (@mothstories), writers were asked to craft a narrative about a small moment that taught them something about themselves. Students practiced reading with a partner first to receive feedback, then shared their story at the whole class slam. Everyone stretched past their public speaking comfort zones and had a lot of fun in the process!
