Building Community in Yosemite

Annual overnight trips are one of the ways that we build community in middle school, and experience the world outside of our school walls. 🏞️

While in Yosemite, 8th graders were encouraged to engage with nature using all of their senses. Students spotted bobcats, tasted edible plants, and woke up to fresh snow blanketing the valley. Our @NatureBridge guides led us through challenging hikes, team building games, and moments of quiet observation. Everyone returned with a greater connection to nature and each other!
