Dana Nelson-Isaacs

Dana has worked for twenty-five years in the independent school world. The first fifteen were inside of schools, serving in the enrollment/admission/financial aid offices and in high school placement. She founded her consultancy, DNI Consulting, in 2013, and has since served nearly 120 schools nationwide with her expertise in market research, enrollment feasibility studies, and associated strategic enrollment management projects, including constituent satisfaction and other survey work. She also consults on marketing, communication, and financial aid strategy, and regularly partners with other firms to provide additional services including mission and identity work and financial sustainability consulting. Dana holds a BA in psychology and an MS in counseling psychology. She lives in El Cerrito with her husband, an author, speaker, and physics teacher, and their alum daughter, Eliana (’23), who literally and figuratively dances through life.
