Celebrating Our Summer Readers

Avis students love to read! Last month our middle schoolers celebrated their passion for books with a Summer Reading BINGO party at lunch. Kids were proud to have filled rows or entire BINGO boards with books they read matching prompts such as “characters speak Spanish”, “activism”, and “neurodiverse characters”.

Librarians Rebecca and Sebastian gave away a broad assortment of books to our top readers, and everyone enjoyed sharing their favorite titles while eating ice cream in the sunshine!
