Gil Grimmett

Gil Grimmett, Tapscott colab Teacher, is a ceramic sculptor living in Oakland. He received his BA in art history from Rutgers University and an MS Ed. in elementary education and teaching literacy from Bank Street College. Over the last 20 years, Gil has developed curricula integrating the arts, technology with language arts, and social studies disciplines in classrooms in the US and Japan. He is also a tinkerer with a lifetime of experience experimenting and playing with new tools, materials, and techniques for crafting objects and solving problems.
