Jillian Rubin

Jillian Rubin, 6th Grade Math Associate Teacher, has worked in education, arts, and coffee. She studied sociology with a minor in African diaspora at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. She moved to the Bay Area in 2011 to work for a reading non-profit and then a TK- 8th grade school in San Francisco. She has experience as a Math Teaching Assistant at Claremont Middle School where she worked with 6th and 7th grade classrooms. She comes to us after being a full-time substitute for Berkeley Unified School District. Jillian enjoys drinking good coffee while writing letters to her friends and family – preferably at a campsite in the Sierras.
