Kim Almeida
Board Member
Kim is a corporate philanthropy and international development professional. She joined the Levi Strauss Foundation in 2012 and currently leads the foundation’s program team, overseeing its democracy, immigrant rights, reproductive justice, and worker rights and well-being portfolios. Previously, she oversaw the design and implementation of Levi Strauss & Co.’s Worker Wellbeing program, which improves apparel workers’ lives through partnerships with the company’s supplier factories and community organizations. Kim is a member of the board of directors at Funders Concerned about AIDS and Hands on Bay Area. She serves as advisor to Levi Strauss and Co.’s Red Tab Foundation, which provides emergency relief to employees. Kim is also an active volunteer with U.S. Master’s Swimming. Born and raised in Guatemala, she is fluent in Spanish and German and proficient in Portuguese. Kim is a parent to 6th grader Pablo.
