Whendy Costa

Whendy Costa, Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Lead Teacher, has been in the early childhood education field for nineteen years and remains passionate about this specific age group. The sense of wonder and excitement for learning that young children bring to their work inspires her on a daily basis! Whendy earned her BA in early childhood education and her master’s degree in environmental education. Whendy’s niche is to bring environmental education and social justice into the TK curriculum. Young learners can be part of the conversation! She is a California native and feels fortunate to be so close to the nature that inspires her curriculum and her personal life as well.
